David has become a performer thanks to the Jumperoo. He loves being the center of attention as everyone watches him jump and squeal in delight. I am now a huge fan of this new jumping device. However, I think that they should have included "Warning: Audience not included" on the box. This toy, as fun as it appears to be, is only fun if people are watching and cheering as David performs his jumping act for them.
Danny and I are enjoying being parents more than we could ever begin to tell you. David has changed our life in many ways. Perhaps one of the greatest ways is in how we enjoy the simplicity of life to a new degree. I used to think that parents would sacrifice in their own life in order to splurge on toys for their children. I now understand that it is really splurging on ourselves to buy toys for our kids, because the wonder and delight of our little one is like medicine to our soul. Watching David enjoy life is a constant reminder to us that life is not as complex as we would try to make it. God knew what he was doing when He sent us David for this season of our life!
